Harold Hayden
September
Harold Hayden has earned his wings this September by performing his solo flight with his Apprentice without instructor Dick Niebels at his side. Congratulations Harold and welcome to the Denver R/C Eagles.
Mitch Long
September 7th
On September 7th, Mitch Long soloed in a glow plug powered Thunder Tiger trainer airplane. Mitch was a Navy veteran of the Viet Nam era and he is planning to retire this year from TSA. He spent over 30 years as an account executive and sales manager in the high tech and medical industries. Mitch enjoys model making, boating, fishing, and skiing. He wants his second airplane to be an electric Navy T-28 airplane. Mitch was a student of John Dickens.
Tim Spencer
September 21st
On September 21st, Tim Spencer soloed in an electric Sensei airplane by Flyzone. Tim lives in Colorado Springs. He has been coming to our airfield for lessons because the clubs in his area were not able to provide him with flying lessons. He wants his second airplane to be an electric Ultra Stick airplane. Tim was a student of John Dickens.
